#34: How to Continue Marketing When You’re Sold Out

My son is a U.S. Marine.

I remember when my son went to the Marine Corps Bootcamp.

It was tough.

I watched video after video of what he was going through each week in training.

Many times with tears in my eyes!

I wondered why they have to do it that way?

Why do they yell in their face and punish them if they smile or cry or puke?

Why can’t they eat?

Why can’t he contact his family?

Later I discovered why this training is necessary…

Because it works.

When my son was deployed in 2017 to Africa and the Middle East, I understood why they trained the way they did.

He was prepared.

He was able to live on minimal calories.

He was able to maintain the mindset of a warrior.

And for that I was grateful.

I recognize farming is not the Marine Corps and it’s not a deployment.

But…

If we want to serve our customers in the long run, we must work with the same focus and show up consistently through marketing.

Today, many farmers are sold out of their products.
